About Finedune Atelier
Founded with the belief that quiet craft can still feel radical. Our classes bring editorial restraint to an ancient material.
Mission
We equip makers to shape honest forms with confident technique and contextual literacy—materials, heat, and time, deliberately chosen.
Our Story
2019 — Sketching the Standard
A series of small, disciplined studio sessions gave shape to our editorial approach and pacing.
2021 — Studio Opens
We opened a light-filled studio and launched a modular curriculum for different learning tempos.
2023 — Online Live Track
Broadcast classes with close-up technique cameras and measured assignments for remote learners.
2026 — Glaze Research Lab
We added a small materials lab to test firing curves and demystify surface chemistry.
What We Value
-
Discipline
Repetition, calibration, and muscle memory, not shortcuts.
-
Clarity
Assertive silhouettes and proportion that reads clean at a glance.
-
Context
Materials and firing are not mysteries; we teach what the kiln is really doing.
